Michelle was born in Newport Beach, California where her love for real estate started young by attending open houses of celebrities on Sundays with her sisters. She is the youngest of four accomplished women.
As a child, swimming was the life of all her sisters. Countless hours were spent at the Swim Club hanging out with ‘swimming families’. Michelle and her sisters were influenced in the 1970s by the remarkable Mark Spitz along with coaching great Mark Schubert, they all had dreams of being the Olympians.
In her young adult life, Michelle focused on college and the future. She desired to be well-versed and fluent in languages like French, German, Swedish, and English like her mom. Michelle’s passion for culture was rooted in her at a young age after traveling to Europe. This combination led Michelle to graduate in International Business at San Diego State University.
After a move to Seattle and then Bellingham for family, Michelle’s love for real estate was reignited. Michelle had an innate knack for real estate, driven by her personal experiences. It was the culmination of Michelle’s competitive nature, desire for perfection, and love of people: real estate was a natural fit. She quickly became one of the top brokers in Bellingham and remains in the top 1% of brokers in Whatcom County and Northwest Washington.
